John Carlisle
Managing Partner & President
Having held positions in New York, Paris, and London, John has built a truly international career within the financial services industry, and has cultivated an in-depth understanding of a wide range of products and services. Prior to being a founding member of Market ResolveSM, LLC, John was Managing Director, Investment Bank Technology Operations at JP Morgan, as well as having held executive level management positions within the Investment Bank, Institutional Investment Management, the Private Bank and branch operations in London and Paris. Also while being a key member of the Management Committee, John ran the local Securities Clearing and Custody business along with Technology and Operations for the Paris office. During his career John has also directed customer- and issuer-oriented activities such as Cash Clearing, Custody, Corporate Trust and ADR. Additionally John has managed Market-infrastructure-supporting businesses including Equities, Fixed Income, Emerging Markets and Treasury. Throughout his career, John has been active in a variety of industry groups such as the SIA and the New York Clearing House and while in London, a member of the Euro Currency Conversion Committee.
Nick Mannarino
Managing Partner
Nick is Managing Partner and a founder of Market Resolve; a New York based consulting firm providing end-to-end solutions tailored to the full range of diverse challenges faced by financial services organizations such as compliance, process, workflow, and control documentation. Nick brings deep expertise of operational management, reviews, and assessments from his many years experience in all aspects of the securities industry. He has been responsible for the concept and development of our proprietary software, which provides process and workflow controls to middle and back office.
Nick started Market Resolve, LLC after leaving JP Morgan, as Chief Operating Officer of JP Morgan Securities, Inc. and member of its Board of Directors. He has been continually active in the Bond Market Association and Securities Industries and Financial Markets Association, having chaired and served on various committees.
Sandy Manata
Managing Partner
Sandy has been a member of the securities industry and held senior positions in the banking, brokerage, and the utilities (NSCC, GSCC) segments of the securities market for many years. As head of software development and architect of WFD for Market Resolve, he brings career expertise to his role having provided management consulting services to leading vendors of software solutions for both equity and fixed income requirements. Sandy has designed and implemented systems in the Equity, Fixed Income, and Mutual Fund arenas and has also formerly held the position of senior manager in Securities Operations and in IT. Previous to Market Resolve, as President of SFM Consulting, Sandy developed the strategic planning for the evolution and implementation for proprietary brokerage software and a realignment of business structure for his clients. From 1998-2001 as Managing Director with Bear Stearns, Sandy played a critical role managing their Global Y2K effort. Sandy began his career with US Trust Company of New York as Vice President of Security Operations for all security processing: Government, Securities Lending, and Securities Processing systems. After leaving US Trust Sandy was appointed Vice President of New Product Development for the Bank of New York.
He has also chaired and served on committees for the American Bankers Association, Securities Industries Association, the Investment Company Institute and served three years as the Chairman of the New York Clearing House DTC Committee.
